Antique Large Japanese Tansu Table Wood Cabinet Chest. The inlaid woodwork is quite special , and thats what this piece is all about, please study the photos, I would date this cabinet to c1880-90.

The exterior black finish and decoration has faded and aged as you would expect with a few loses to the metal mounts and one interior draw handle replaced with wire , no keys. But this is an unusually large piece and the inlay / marquetry is as good as it gets , youll wait a long time to come across another one like this. Ive given it a light clean and a bit of wax polish. If you want it posted abroad it will cost quite a bit because of its size , weight and my over the top protective packing.
