Meiji Netsuke okimono of a man with a spear superb detail signed by carver

Meiji period carved okimono, depicting a warrior with a spear, meditating. For some reason there's what looks like a miniature version of his own head looking up at him. Looks really strange from the underside. (spear is actually a wooden stick).

Slight chip loss to finger on left hand. Slight remains of an old sales label on box to left of man. Signed by the carver in a lacquer tablet.

The detail is excellent, especially the hands and feet. Measures approx 6cm x6cm x 4cm.
