The lantern has been found with a metal hook that would have supported the lantern in a wood shaft for out door as a stand.

Nice family Mon symbol on golden lacquer. Period: 1850 - 1880 Edo - Meiji era. ¨Dimensions: H 42 cm, weight 1.220 Kg + wrapping. ¨Conditions: good, some wear marks from long usage and time, please see photos.
