ANTIQUE JAPANESE (c1900) SIGNED TOKKURI SAKE JUG SAKE BOTTLE (VASE) 10

This is an antique Japanese large sake jug from the late Meiji Era c. This one is 10 tall and covered with very decorative calligraphy. It is all hand made and fired at high temperatures for lasting durability. It has the name of the sake company, Tamasen Do??? (see first picture) in Takada?? City (see second picture) with their address. Is the general term for a sake bottle. This ceramic sake jug measures 4 1/2" in diameter by 10" tall (11.5 x 25.5 cm) and remains in fine condition It is high fire glazed both inside and out. Great as a stand alone piece of art with calligraphy. It weighs about 3 lbs. You'll love it, I guarantee it.........
