Antique Japanese Furniture clothes chest interior cabinet 1800s. Japanese antique chests of drawers flourished in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This beautiful small chest of drawers is lavishly decorated with gorgeous iron hardware and finished in a black colored lacquer. Three drawers on the upper side. One larger drawer on the lower side. Two medium size drawers on the right side. Region of origin : Shonai, Japan Size : H. 58cm / 22.8inch x L. 58cm / 28.8inch x D. 30cm / 11.8inch Weight : 10.1kg / 22.2lbs Age. Meiji era, end of 1800s. There is one key for hinged door.

There is a gap inside of drawers. There are aging damages such as hits, scratches and peeling of paint due to age.
