Antique Suzuribako Japan Zen writing cabinet 1800's Japanese craft. Antique Japanese Suzuribako box with inner ink stone Suzuri, wear from long usage and time visible, nice patina, solid structure, no key, top door dose not close making it hard to curry. Complete of Ink stone, ceramic ink holder, Sumi ink and brushes, in use until recently. Date and inscription on ceramic March 1842.

Period: dated on ceramic March 1842. Dimensions: 26 x 20 x 18 cm, weight 3.420 Kg + wrapping. Conditions: good, wear marks from long usage and time. Materials: wood, iron, stone, ceramic.
