Suiseki / Fujieda-ishi : Chirimen-ishi (with one pedestal). [Size] Width : 220mm (8.66in) / Depth : 140mm (5.51in) / Height : 135mm (5.32in).
Suiseki is a Japanese culture and hobby of viewing stones indoors. Place natural stones on a pedestal or basin with sand for viewing. The name Suiseki is based on the theory that when water is sprinkled on a stone placed in a basin, it becomes darker and looks beautiful. There is a theory that "Sansuiseki" or "Sansuikeiseki", which was heavily used as a stone to feel the mountain waterscape, was omitted.
It is said that most of the ornamental stones before the Meiji era were Sansui stones. Please note - we cannot undervalue orders, or mark them as a gift.
