Japanese AxeRARE ANTIQUEHand Forged Blacksmith LaminatedWood Timber Tool

Fully hand made by blacksmith. High carbon steel cutting edge forge laminated to low carbon steel. Filled to finish, and meticulously engraved. The patina from years of use is quite beautiful on this axe head. I would estimate it to be well over 60 years old.

This is the only one like it that I have come across. The steel is remarkably tough and retains and sharp edge well. Both fully functional and highly collectible.
